25 years ago, I lived in a small countyside in China. My relatives who returned from abroad once brought my family a bunch of “treasures” that we had never seen before. Among them was a natural sparkling stone which was brilliantly embedded in metal, like a glowing ring. I was amazed by its beauty and didn't expect it to be a cabinet knob. My father carefully installed it on the simple cabinet in my room. It accompanied my childhood. Never did I realise that a “seed” has been secretly planted.

 

10 years ago, I worked busily but meaninglessly in a big city. After being fired, I returned to my homtown. Once when I return to the room I sued to live, I saw that the knob was still there, remaining its beauty but faded a lot. The “seed” buried in my heart have finally taken root and sprouted.

 

One year after, I embarked on an “adventure” with my remaining $2,000 and opened my first online store selling the cabinet knob and pull on Taobao (Chinese biggest e-commerce platform).

 

I determined to design and produce the unique handle, which is quite different from the present market. And I believed that there were people who need it! Choosing a different path is bound to face great challenges. For the past 10 years, after countless setbacks, I have 7 online stores and found a design-and-manufactored team. Our annual revenue grows to $2,000,000.

 

Now, I decided to open my independent website and sell our product globally. I hope to continue the wonderful journey that started 25 years ago and look forward to more challenges and the present of life!
